MACC GREYHOUNDS TO BEGIN REGION 16 TOURNAMENT

#19 ranked Moberly to host State Fair Thursday

The #19 nationally ranked Moberly Area Community College Men's Basketball Team will open Region 16 Tournament Play on Thursday, March 7 as they will host State Fair Community College at 7 pm. The game will be preceded by the Lady Greyhounds hosting Crowder College at 5 pm in Region 16 Tournament play with both games at the Fitzsimmons-John Arena.

"Our team is excited about entering the Regional Tournament this week," said Coach Patrick Smith, "Now it's onto a one game play-off every game and feel our team is prepared for the situation. We play a very talented State Fair team that has been playing good basketball down the stretch. I think it's so important during the post season to remember the ups and downs of the season and play the style of basketball that has been successful for you. Our group is ready and we look forward to the challenge on Thursday."

Moberly enters post season with a 23-7 record along with a 10-2 Region 16 mark.
