The Moberly Area Community College Women’s Basketball Team has announced the signing of Ambranette Storr to the Lady Greyhound roster for the Spring 2021 semester. Storr is a 5’9 combo guard from Bradley, IL who will be transferring to MACC from NCAA Division I Drake University after a standout high school career at Kankakee High School. As a high school senior, Storr was recognized as Associated Press 1st Team All-State, Illinois Basketball Coaches Association 1st Team All-State, Prep Girls Hoops Illinois All State, Kankakee Daily Journal Player of The Year, Champaign News Gazette 1st Team All State, and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All Star. Storr scored a total of 2,913 career points.

Storr will enter MACC as a freshman having not played any games for Drake this fall and will be eligible to compete immediately. “I am extremely excited to add Amber to our program. She is a dynamic scorer who also sees the floor well and makes her teammates better. She rebounds well and will fit into what we do defensively. I believe she will make an immediate impact on our program,” said Coach Hana Haden. The Lady Greyhound players will be returning after Christmas to start practice on January 4 for the start of their 22 game regular season which begins January 22 at John Wood Community College in Quincy, IL.
