Lady Greyhounds Start Strong With 12-1 First Semester Record
The Lady Greyhounds have been on a tear lately going 12-1 in the first semester of the season with the only loss coming to #4 in the nation Wabash Valley. The Lady Greyhounds ended December on a 8 game winning streak and are undefeated at home. The Lady Greyhounds are lead by sophomore guard Jeannie Scott who is averaging 19.1 points per game. Two other Greyhounds are averaging double figures as Angel Dickerson adds 14 points per game and Giavonnie Belton averages 12.6 points per game.
The Greyhounds have also been excellent on the defensive end as well holding opponents to just 54 points per game. The Lady Greyhounds have been great forcing turnovers on the defensive side averaging 11.9 steals per game.
The Lady Greyhounds look to start the new year off strong as the travel to Jefferson College on January 2nd.
