MACC GREYHOUNDS DEFEAT THREE RIVERS 85-62 IN SEASON FINALE
#5 ranked MACC squad begins Region Tournament Play
The #5 ranked Moberly Area Community College Men's Basketball Team won their 17th consecutive victory by defeating Three Rivers Comm. College 86-67 at the Fitzsimmons-John Arena on Saturday evening. Moberly lead 33-29 at the half and blew the game open with a 17-4 run midway thru the second half. Sophomore PG Jaheim Tanksley lead MACC in scoring with 17 points, freshman wing Brandon Hall scored 16 points, sophomore wing Raeshaun Ambris added 16, while sophomore guard Teddy Washington and freshman forward Ade Poppola contributed 11 points each.
Moberly improved to 27-3 on the season and concluded a Region 16 undefeated regular season with a 12-0 regional record. Moberly will now begin Region 16 Tournament Play at Lincoln University in Jefferson City on Friday at 4 pm vs. the winner of the State Fair-West Plains contest.
