Esports Celebrates a Successful First Season of Competition
Greyhound Esports gathered recently to cap off their inaugural season of NJCAA competition with and awards banquet.
Congratulations to our pioneering team of gamers on an exciting year! With so many returning players and a crop of talented recruits, Coach Semones is looking forward to expanding the program next year to include even more games and additional opportunities to compete nationally.

Team Highlights
- Region XVI Tournament Champions – Fortnite
- Region XVI 3rd overall finish – Overwatch 2
- League of Legends Team swept Des Moines Area Community College
- Overwatch 2 Team swept Mineral Area College
- Valorant Team swept Florida State College at Jacksonville and Seward County Community College.
Individual Highlights
- Alex Shephard – GlitchedWolf: ranked top 15 nationally
- Matthew Reustle – wynautwobbuffet- and Emery Solder: top 50 nationally
- Austin Taylor and Harleen Velaxco Clapp: NJCAA Region XVI- Fortnite Champions
- Andrew Trask – Ninjune: ranked top 2% of Marvel Rivals Players worldwide
