McBride joins Moberly from NCAA Division II Minot State where he helped their program achieve their best 3 year record and set a school record for wins in 2017-18. Before that, McBride was an assistant coach at NCAA Division II University of Illinois-Springfield. He had an accomplished playing career starting with his high school days at Lanpheir High School(Springfield, Illinois) where he was named as a High School All American while finishing State Runner Up. He then enjoyed a very successful 4 year playing career at the University of Illinois and was a member of their team which finished as National Runner-Up to North Carolina. He was named as the Team’s Most Valuable player his senior season and was also named to the 2019 Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
