“Lots of very positive performances from this game,” said Coach Pat Smith, “John Wood is very skilled and really executes on offense, so we needed to be as solid and disruptive as we could be on defense. I felt we did this for the most part and had a nice flow/pace on offense. Now we’re onto a very tough part of our schedule and playing this weekend in the Iowa-Missouri challenge. We play a very good Southeastern Iowa squad on Friday that is so athletic and does numerous areas of the game well. We look forward to the challenge and improving the next three days.”
Moberly improved to 3-0 on the season while John Wood drops to 2-1. Moberly returns to the hardwood this Friday on the road at Southeastern Iowa in West Burlington, Iowa in the Iowa-Missouri Challenge with an 8 pm tip off.
