A day after moving up to #9 in the NJCAA National Poll, the Moberly Area Comm. College Men’s Basketball Team will host West Plains College on Wednesday, February 7. The contest will start at 7:00 pm at the Fitzsimmons-John Arena in the key NJCAA Region 16 matchup. Moberly is currently 22-3 and 5-0 in Regional play while Missouri State-West Plains has compiled a 20-6 record and 3-2 in regional contests while being nationally ranked much of the season.

“You work all year and season to play in games like tonight,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “West Plains is truly the best offensive team we’ve played against all season, players who are versatile and score in various ways. They have combination players who can shoot, drive and score in the post. They have been a good team all season long and we have to be ready to accept the challenge to defend a team averaging 97 points per game. I like where our team is at right now, must keep seeking the next level of effort and execution. Great game to play at this time of the season.”

The Lady Greyhounds Game vs. Arkansas Baptist scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to weather in Arkansas and will be rescheduled.
