“Tough loss in that it’s a game our players really wanted to play well in but unfortunately not a good night,” said Coach Pat Smith, “Combination of being a tough place to play, a really good team in Indian Hills that just shot so well and the fact we lost our way thru the game in terms of our execution. We must learn from this and move, we can use this game as a major motivating force in getting better. This team has accomplished so much in going two months without a loss, and while this game hurts in terms of not playing as well as we wanted or the result, what we want to accomplish as a team lies ahead of us and we look forward to getting back to work.”
Moberly dropped to 20-6 overall on the season(6-0 in Region 16 and 8-0 in the MCCAC) while Indian Hills improves to 22-4 and ranked 12th in the NJCAA Poll. Moberly returns to action on this Tuesday, Feb. 12 as they host Link Year Prep with tip off slated at 7:00 pm.
