“This was just a very tough, competitive college basketball game,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “It seems every time we play MAC it just becomes a possession by possession, grind it out game. I know they really guarded us well and feel we gave a very solid defensive performance. Very proud of our players for the effort and togetherness they showed tonight against a very good Mineral team. We had some rebounding problems and offensive flow problems the first half, think we did a much better job the second half to put us in position to get the win. Now it’s onto another big week in our season.”
The 19th ranked Moberly squad will return to action on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm when they host the Graceland University JV Team at 7:00 PM.
