Allen Co. improved to 7-1 with the win while Moberly dropped to 4-2.
“Tough weekend from the outcome standpoint,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “However, when both games come down to one possession, most certainly a lot of teaching points. One thing for sure, we have to get better defensively when you give up the amount of points we did. When both teams shoot over 44 free throws, we have to eliminate the bad fouls and just giving away points. Our ball movement must improve as we were too stagnant at times. I’ve said all along we must continue progressing and we must now focus on individual and team improvements.”
Moberly returns to action on Tuesday as they travel to Penn Valley CC for a 7 pm tip off.
