“I’m pleased with the way we are playing heading down the stretch,” said Coach Pat Smith, “WE’ve won 7 of our last 9 games and feel like we’ve got a solid playing rotation and getting more consistent with our effort and system execution. Because of having to forfeit two games, we had 12 days off and we used that time for some needed practice time. However, it’s really great to be back playing games and see where we are at in terms of competition. With the Regional Tournament looming, it’s the time of year to be playing our best basketball and give ourselves an opportunity to be playing on Saturday night for the Regional Title once again.”

Moberly is currently 14-7 on the season while standing 6-5 in Region 16. Moberly concluded their regular season on Saturday, March 27 at 7 pm with a home game vs. State Fair Community College. The NJCAA Region 16 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at the site of the #1 seed Mineral Area on April 2-3 in Park Hills, Missouri.
