“After a 7 game winning streak, we played two very good teams and to be honest, did not play well or Greyhound Basketball in those losses,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “We went back to work and wanted to reinvent, recreate who we are and who we want to be on a consistent, day-in day-out basis. We played very well the last two games but the schedule only gets tougher and now we’re really down to every game being important and the only time of the season that really matters. We really needed to move the ball better on offense and more solid with our defensive effort with a need to continue on that path. We are always interested in where we are at any particular time and this is the part of the season where we want to be a really good team.”
Moberly improved to 18-6 with the two victories and 5-3 in Region 16. The Greyhounds next game will be Saturday, February 5 as they host #10 nationally ranked Mineral Area at 7 pm in the Hall of Fame induction Presentation.
