“Very pleased with how we ended the first semester winning the Highland (Il.) Tournament title,” said Coach Pat Smith, “likewise,  how we came out of the gates the second semester with two good performances.  Both teams we competed against are very good teams, very different, and our guys did a tremendous job of staying the course and toughing out the win vs. Lake Land.  Still need to be more consistent in all areas and keep progressing to the point of never wavering from what we need to be as a basketball squad.  We’ve made a lot of progress and look forward to continuing to face the challenges in front of us.”

Moberly won their 5th straight game to improve to 14-4 on the season.  They return to action in NJCAA Region 16 by hosting Missouri State-West Plains on Wednesday, January 5 Great 7 pm in the Fitzsimmons-John Arena.
