“Just a tremendous effort by our guys, so proud of the team they have become,” said Coach Patrick  Smith, “Three tough post-season games that we have demonstrated  an outstanding level of toughness, poise and togetherness to secure Regional and District Championships. It’s what you work for as a coach, to see your team develop into an “US” group where it’s about it the Team with egos put aside and one common goal.  Triton is a really good team so once again we have proven what quality of team we have become.   Tremendous atmosphere here tonight with out crowd and just really appreciate the support we receive.  Now it’s onto Hutch and the next step as we await the selection show to see where we are seeded and play first round.  The best part of this is getting to continue to coach this team. “

Moberly improves to 27-6 with their 11th consecutive victory and will now participate in the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas March 14-19.  Triton College drops to 28-5 with the loss and will now await the Selection Sunday to see if they receive an At-Large Bid.
