“I was very pleased with how we approached this game and the defensive intensity we displayed throughout the game,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “ We had a couple of dry offensive stages but kept guarding and rebounding which got us through a key region game on the road.  This team has come a long way, we still have a lot of improvement which can occur and can’t wait to get back at it for the next challenge.  I give a lot of credit to my assistant coaches and players for getting ready to play this game.”

Moberly improves to 16-4 on the season with their 7th consecutive victory and  a 3-1 Region 16 record. State Fair drops to 13-7 on the season with 1-3 in Region 16.  The Greyhounds return to the court Saturday when they play #16 nationally ranked Mineral Area on the road at Park Hills, Missouri at 7:00 pm.
