“A tough grind it out victory over a very good basketball team,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “Mineral is just so good in all phases and I’m proud of our players for staying the course. We did a much better job than last time defensively and that was the key to our success tonight. There’s always areas you can improve in and seeking more consistency of execution on both sides of the ball. We’ll enjoy this win today and then it’s on to what lies ahead as we finish our season and start getting ready for post season.”
Moberly improved to 19-6 with the victory and 6-3 in Region 16 play while Mineral Area drops to 20-5 on the season and 7-2 in Region 16. MACC returns to action this Monday, February 7 as they will host Prise Academy with tip off at 7 pm.
