The Moberly Area Community College Men’s Basketball Program has added 6’10”, 200 lb. center-forward Quincy Trammel to their 2020-21 roster by signing him to a NJCAA Letter-of-Intent. The Houston, Texas Native is transferring from Tohono O’odham CC in Arizona where he played this past season as a freshman. He averaged 11.7 points per game, 7.0 rebounds, blocked 76 shots on the season and hit 21 three pointers at 31%. Trammel posted season highs of 31 points and 15 rebounds against Scottsdale CC. Tohono O’odham CC dropped Men’s and Women’s Basketball at the completion of this current season and Trammel will have one season of eligibility for the Greyhounds. He attended Westlake Christian Academy in Houston for high school.

“We are so excited to add Quincy to our squad for next season,” said Hounds Coach Patrick Smith, “He is very athletic, runs and jumps, and on top of that has a really high skill level. We lose Eddie Creal and Dusan Mahorcic from a very good front-line this past season and sincerely feel Quincy can step right in to those roles. We’ve had so much success with Jr. College transfers and feel he will be a major impact player. He rim protects and can really run the floor, attributes that Dusan had as a JUCO big man. Can’t wait to coach him along with our returnees and other newcomers for next season.”

Moberly finished 27-6 this past season, won the Region 16 Tournament, Midwest District Champions, NJCAA National Tournament Qualifier, Co MCCAC and NJCAA Region 16 Regular Season Champs along with being ranked #17 in final NJCAA National Poll.
