The Moberly Area Community College women’s basketball program capped off a strong season on the court with a strong performance in the classroom as the spring semester recently came to a close.

Both Sentreal Gregory and Allisyn Rhone were named to the President’s List, while Alexis Henry and Chrishey Wilkes were named to the Dean’s List as the team posted a 3.10 overall grade point average with seven of 12 student-athletes receiving above a 3.0 for the semester.

Gregory and Alexis Henry were both named Second Team NJCAA All-Americans, with Rhone receiving Third Team honors. For the academic year the program posted a 2.98 overall grade point average, coming up just short of the 3.0 mark required to be nominated for NJCAA Academic Team of the Year and appear on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll.

“I’m really proud of these young ladies for their individual academic achievements,” said MACC head coach Chad Killinger. “It takes a great deal of commitment and a tremendous amount of time management to get these recognitions and each of them are certainly deserving.”
