“I thought we played well this weekend in both contests,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “At times we’re very good for November, but we have to do a better job of sustaining our defensive intensity and offensive execution.  The games only get tougher and I’m excited for our team as we head into this part of our schedule with the opportunity to continue our progression to becoming the squad we want to be.  Lots of positives, must continue to strive to eliminating bad plays, decisions and the situations we don’t execute.  It’s how close to 40 minutes  you can play good basketball that ultimately decides your fate against the really good teams we’re getting ready to play. We have improved and must continue to seek the next level individually and as a team.”

Moberly returns to action this Wednesday as they open NJCAA Region 16 competition by hosting Mineral Area College at 7:00 pm.
