“Very pleased with a consistent performance from start to finish by our guys,” said Coach Pat Smith, “This was against a good Mineral Area Team that has a really good offensive system and players. Thought our defense stepped up and we got on a couple of rolls on offense throughout the game obviously with Verge having an outstanding game. However, had a lot of other players contribute in various ways and that’s been the key to our success.”
Moberly improved to 20-5 with their 13th straight victory and currently stand 6-0 in Region 16 with an MCCAC record of 8-0. Mineral Area currently stands 17-6 overall and 1-3 in Region play. Moberly will return to action on Wednesday at 7:00 pm as they host Metropolitan CC at 7:00 pm.
