Carnethia Brown and Anisha George, who finished as two of the top three scorers this past season for the MACC women’s basketball program and helped guide the Greyhound Women to a 23-8 overall mark and second place finish in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference, were recently selected as two of the top 40 NJCAA student-athletes who will participate in the 9th Annual NJCAA Coaches Association All-Star Weekend to be held July 21-24 in Niceville, Florida.

The Moberly Area Community College women's basketball program has had three more student-athletes sign to continue their careers at the four-year level since the end of the 2016-2017 season, following Romekia Wallace, who committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha in April.
