“A very tough loss in that’s it a game we had a couple of commanding leads but couldn’t get enough stops to keep control of the game and get the win,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “When you score 96 points that should be enough to come out on top. However, I really give Iowa Western and Coach Johnette a lot of credit, they did a great job of hanging in there and making plays at the end of the game. We had a lot of breakdowns that caused our demise. I always say an early season loss is not the end of the world if we learn from it and get better. We played 5 games in 9 days, probably had some slippage from lack of practice and must use this week to improve, self scout and get better. It starts with me, I must do a better job and look forward to practice time.”

Moberly returns to action this Friday, November 15 against Butler Co. CC in the State Fair CC Laser Image Classic at 3 pm.
