“I was pleased with how our players approached the game with a lot riding on the line,” said Coach Patrick Smith, “It is important what you do start to finish of the season and to capture the regular season Region 16 title and #1 seed, win the MCCAC Championship and go 26-4 against a very challenging schedule, I’m very proud of our team and staff. However, now it’s onto season #3 which is the post-season and we have a lot left to accomplish and we must redirect our goals. However, our basic concepts never change in terms of progressing as a team this week and be playing our best basketball entering what is going to be a tremendously competitive regional tournament.”

Moberly will play State Fair in the semi-finals of the Region 16 Tournament on Friday, March 3 at Lincoln University in Jefferson City.
