Served as Asst. Coach 2012-14

Andre Bell has rejoined the Moberly Area Comm. College Men’s Basketball Staff for the 2016-17 school year. Coach Bell was assistant coach under Pat Smith during the 2012-14 seasons at Moberly as they compiled a 47-18 record with two Regional Runner Up finishes. Coach Bell was previously assistant coach at Trinity Valley Comm. College under Smith from 2008-12 as they had a 91-35 record. He previously also played for Smith at Bemidji State University during the 2005-06 season where he graduated with a BS degree in 2008. He has served the last two seasons as Assistant Coach at St. Rita High School in his native Chicago.

“We are very pleased to have Andre back as a Greyhound,” said Smith, “He’s been a member of my staff for six years total and just brings great energy, knowledge and commitment to our program. He’s been instrumental in our early success here and I feel along with Coach Jason Owens, truly gives us one of the best coaching staffs in all of Jr. College Basketball.”

Moberly Area Comm. College finished 25-11 last season while winning the NJCAA Region 16 championship, NJCAA District IV Title and made the NJCAA Sweet 16 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
