The Moberly Area Community College Men’s Basketball Team signed two guards to NJCAA Letter-of-Intents to add to their 2016-17 roster. Signing with the Greyhounds are DelFinko Bogan (Charleston, Missouri) and Anthony McIntosh(Grand Rapids, Michigan). Bogan, a 5′9″ 185 lb. sophomore combo guard, will be transferring from NCAA Division I Jacksonville State where he averaged 4.0 points per game along with 1 assist. During his senior season of high school he lead Charleston High School to a 17-11 record while averaging 16.7 points, 3.4 steals, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He was also named to the All State Team at the completion of the season.

McIntosh was widely regarded as one of the best players in Michigan this past season. The 6′1″ wing helped lead his Ottawa Hills High School Team to a 14-9 record while averaging 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists per game.

“We concentrated our early recruiting efforts on our front-line,” said Greyhounds Coach Patrick Smith, “with that said, we felt we had signed some good guards and feel we have added two high quality players in these two individuals. Bogan can really score the ball and his strength allows him to score at the basket against taller opponents, plus he’s a very good outside shooter. McIntosh is simply one of the fastest guards with the ball baseline to baseline that I’ve seen in some time. He’s a good shooter but can really get to the basket and finish. I sincerely feel we just improved our team with these two players.

Smith said the Greyhounds still hope to sign 1 or 2 more players as they prepare to defend their regional and district titles from last season.
