“Very proud of these young man and the honors/awards they have received,” said Coach Pat Smith, “However, the key to our team this season has been our balance, depth and a true team first attitude and mentality. WE have six players averaging in double figures plus Quinton Drayton who’s scoring there every night now. So, I think these individual awards are also a reflection of how unselfish our players have been and how much of a team this squad has become. Very proud of these players along with all of our players, coaches and staff. Now it’s onto the District Finals against a very good Highland team.”

Moberly currently stands 26-6 on the season after winning the NJCAA Region 16 Tournament Championship this past weekend by defeating Mineral Area 91-65. They also shared the Region 16 and MCCAC Regular season titles and will host the Midwest District Championship Game this Saturday at 7 pm against Highland (Ill.) CC.
